Canadian Urban Institute

The CUI fosters dialogue and debate among Canadians on how to deal with the challenges facing our urban regions through the organization of conferences, workshops and applied research. The Institute brings together policy makers and practitioners from all three levels of government, the private sector and a broad range of non-profit, institutional and academic organizations. The common denominator is that these players have a keen interest in the “urban condition,” the future of cities; and a vested interest in how the complex organisms we know as cities will affect their own priorities.
