The Canadian Urban Institute's Mission:

The Canadian Urban Institute (CUI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in urban areas in Canada and internationally.

The Canadian Urban Institute's Vision:

As an independent body the Institute meets the need for a think-tank committed to improving policy making, governance and management in urban regions by encouraging a better understanding of contemporary urban issues among business, government and other key institutions.

The Canadian Urban Institute

	Fosters debate among Canadian leaders and corporate bodies regarding the challenges faced by urbanization.
	Is actively involved in applied research projects both in Canada and abroad aimed at promoting excellence in governance and management of urban regions.
	Provides an effective conduit for the flow of invaluable industry-related information to the larger community.
	Is committed to delivering a high level of consulting services and networking opportunities to our membership.
