As a Canadian leader in progressive thinking for cities and their regions, CUI is playing an active role in the WUF3. With a seat on the Government of Canada’s National Advisory Committee for WUF, CUI provided inputs to the design of the conference during 2005. We mobilized our partners from less-developed countries to participate in the Habitat Jam. We will bring to the Vancouver conference our know-how and that of our membership and partners from across Canada and around the world. And we will participate in moving ahead the urban agenda in the months and years following WUF3.
